Presbyter / Priest
The Rev. John Laffoon
John is the Rector (Pastor) at Grace by the Sea. He grew up in Kentucky and majored in Education and Biblical Studies at Kentucky Christian University. Shortly after graduation he moved to California to serve as a youth minister from 2005-2008. He then moved to Chile to serve in international youth ministry from 2008-2012. In Chile, he eventually sensed the Lord leading him to return to the US for further studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He earned his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology in Historical Theology from 2013-2016. During that time he was also introduced to the Anglican tradition of following Jesus, which led to him accepting the youth and family minister position at Christ Church Anglican in Phoenix, AZ. He served there for seven years. In August of 2024, with much joy, he began serving as the rector of Grace by the Sea in beautiful Oak Harbor.

Deacon
The Rev. Diana Fedele
Deacon Diana Fedele is a life-long Anglican having worshipped with Grace by the Sea for over thirty years. She has a degree in early childhood development and retired from education after 25 years of service. Diana was ordained into the diaconate in 2018. She leads our prayer team and Altar Guild ministries along with many other responsibilities. Dcn Diana is also a member of The Third Order of St Francis having taking vows of life profession ten years ago.

Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Cascadia
The Right Rev. Jacob "Jake" Worley
Bishop-elect Worley was elected on October 21, 2023, to be the next Bishop Ordinary for the Diocese of Cascadia after the retirement of the current diocesan bishop, the Rt. Rev. Kevin Allen. Worley most recently served as the rector at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in the heart of Fort Worth, TX. He previously served in British Columbia and was elected bishop in the Anglican Church of Canada but instead of being consecrated had his license revoked due to his orthodox stance. Nonetheless, his love for and call to serve the people and region of the Pacific Northwest remained and the Lord has called him back as bishop in the Anglican Church in North America.

Archbishop
The Most Rev. Stephen D. Wood
Archbishop Steve Wood was elected as the first Bishop of the Diocese of the Carolinas by the College of Bishops on June 5, 2012. He was consecrated Bishop at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC by Archbishop Robert Duncan on August 25, 2013. Co-Consecrators included ACNA Bishops Roger Ames, Alphonza Gadsen, and John Guernsey. ​​​ Born October 12, 1963, Bishop Wood is the oldest of two sons born to the late Elanore Mitchell (Smith) Wood and the late Jewell Nelson Wood. He attended Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio, graduating in 1981. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cleveland State University in 1986. He then completed his priestly formation at the Protestant Episcopal Theological Seminary in Virginia where he earned a Masters of Divinity. Archbishop Wood married Jacqueline Elizabeth (Benner) Wood on February 1, 1986. Together, they have four sons and eight grandchildren.
